What is Schedule Message?
Write a message now and pick a date and time. At that moment we email the person a private link to read it. Until then they get nothing and know nothing.
Can I send it anonymously?
Yes. Tick "Send anonymously" and the email and the message only say "Someone". Leave your name in if you want them to know it is you.
Can I change or cancel it?
Yes, any time before it is sent. Messages you schedule are listed on this page in your browser, with Edit and Cancel. Save the private edit link to change it from another device.
How far ahead can I schedule?
From one minute from now up to a year ahead, to the minute.
Can DiffWeb read it?
Your browser encrypts the message before it is sent. To email the link at the right moment we have to keep the link and the address until then, so for scheduled messages we could technically open it. We delete the address and the link as soon as the email goes out.
Can I add photos or files?
A scheduled message is text, up to 10,000 characters. Paste a Google Drive, Dropbox or YouTube link for photos and videos. To share a file that unlocks later, use Time Capsule.
How long can they read it?
For 30 days after it is sent, as many times as they like. Then it is deleted.
